T-Mobile - Satisfaction Guaranteed for £30 a month

T-Mobile are all set to announce some pretty impressive shake ups to their mainstream mobile tariffs - customers on £30 Solo and Combi plans are to be offered an unbeatable service. Under the new scheme, T-Mobile promise to match or beat the amount of minutes being offered on similarly priced contracts from rival network operators. Presumably, this means that customers halfway through their contract will be able to ring up and ask for an upgrade if there is a better deal going, on say 3 or Orange.

Jim Hyde, Chief Executive of T-Mobile said: “This guarantee underlines our commitment to providing unbeatable value for money and making life easier for our customers. Our research has shown that consumers are confused by the sheer number of price plans out there and frustrated by contracts which only offer short-term value. The launch of T-Mobile’s minute guarantee cuts through all this noise and offers customers the confidence that they won't find more minutes at £30.”

In addition to this, a couple of the Solo and Combi tariffs are set to be tweaked slightly; as of this Friday, the £30 Combi deal will get you 700 minutes per month with Unlimited texts on 18 months, 100 up from the 600 minutes currently on offer. Similarly, the SIM-only Solo 15 deal will see you netting 350 minutes instead of the current 300.

These new changes along with the £30 guarantee, which comes into effect as of today, comes after recent cuts in roaming rates across Europe, and the not-so-recent price plan shake-ups of the Flext tariffs in May. T-Mobile are now able to offer a price plan solution for practically every customer with their range of straightforward and customisable tariffs.

What a load of tosh, they refuse to price match against 3’s mix and match tariff which is £27 for 1100 minutes, I have made a complaint to the trading standards…

It says ‘You won’t find more minutes for £30′ in the window of my local T-Mobile shop.
