Sony describes the image quality for the 1 V as ‘unprecedented’, with better quality in low light on its 1644 x 3840 pixel 4K HDR OLED 120Hz refresh rate display.
Sony Xperia 1 V: Camera
A trio of rear cameras provides outstanding pictures and videos. It includes a 48 MP wide, a 12 MP telephoto and a 12 MP ultrawide camera setup.
The front camera is a 12 MP wide camera to deliver crisp selfies and rivals that of iPhones and Samsung.
As for video quality, both rear and front cameras can record in 4K at 30 and 60 FPS, with the rear camera being able to go up to 120 FPS HDR.
Sony Xperia 1 V: Design
The Xperia 1 V follows in its predecessor's footsteps for size, coming in at 6.5 inches tall, but is slightly heavier at 187g compared to the Xperia 1 IV’s 185g.
It also features Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for its glass front, the latest iteration in Gorilla Glass’ range upon the phone's release.
