    Great Coverage, Great Service

Review by: Steve from Southampton, 12th December 2007

I've been with O2 for years, and while they may not have the best tariffs around, I've no intention of changing, largely due to the great coverage I get, their range of phones, and the great all round service I've had from them over the years. Their customer service is pretty good too, and on the few occasions I've needed to use it they've always sorted out any issues quickly for me.

    O2 for 5 years

Review by: Rob Styles from Manchester, 14th December 2007

I have had an o2 contract mobile phone for 5 years now and within that time I have had nothing but great service from them. I my opinion their customer service is very good and the coverage is almost always very good. My current contract runs out quite soon so Im getting tempted by the o2 iphone deal. Expensive but such good fun!!

    O2

Review by: Noaf from London, 18th December 2007

Being someone who travels a lot, and makes a fair amount of international calls, I have found that O2 offer a great service at decent prices.

The coverage I get beats most of my friends on Vodafone, Orange or T-Mobile and their service is good.

    O2 Mobile Network

Review by: James_DB from Hampshire, 18th December 2007

I have been with O2 now for years, ever since they brought out Genie (who used to do a great deal back in the day with free texts).

I have only tried to change my network once (to 3 when they first appeared on the scene) and I moved back straight back to O2. I have found that the coverage is really quite good and I have never had a problem with customer service.

Most of the year O2 give good deals on the latest handsets, and if you come across a month when the deals aren't great, it might be worth waiting a month and see what they come up with. I think sometimes they are more active in the market with regard to customer acquisition and I have found it beneficial to wait sometimes until the offers are really good before upgrading my phone.

I know I could probably get a better deal from a reseller like dial-a-phone but to be honest I don't want the hassle and would rather buy my handset direct from O2.

    O2 - True Blue

Review by: Thomas from Salisbury, 19th December 2007

I've been with O2 for ages now, ever since the good old days of BT Cellnet and have not once had a problem with them. Signal has always been OK in my area and they have boosted reception twice in the past five years and so I now never have a problem getting through to anyone, unless I stand in a room full of mirrors.

I started out on basic PAYG and added on the 100 texts for £7 bolt-on when they were first released way back when, and I also get the equivalent of 50 free cross network minutes a month thanks to a combination of me getting 10% back on every top-up and O2 Treats.

Only really been contacted once by O2 sales people offering me a handset upgrade, I politely said I wasnt interested and respectfully they've not contacted me since. Not really used their online services much, so I've not given this a rating/

I've recently taken up a SIM-plicity contract with O2 (£20 a month) which usually is enough for me, as I dont really see myself upgrading my trusty 3220 until it finally gives up the ghost. I still use my old PAYG SIM in my old 3310 for the odd emergency call or text.

    New Customer

Review by: Finnbogg from Darlington, 6th March 2008

I ported from Orange in January after almost 10 years with them. I have to say that O2 Customer Service totally beats Orange .. Apart from the fact that I can understand the operators, they don't have the cockiness that all Orange CSR's seem to have theses days, and they are always very helpful (I had a couple of teething problems when I ported which were sorted immediately)
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this network to anyone ...
