What tariffs are available on O2?

Pay Monthly

Online Tariffs – O2 have a great range of Pay Monthly contracts available to suit everybody's talking and texting habits. O2 also have a range of great Bolt On offers available with their most popular tariffs – you can choose from unlimited O2 to O2 minutes, unlimited Wi-Fi, unlimited texts and many more. With selected tariffs, you qualify for one Bolt On as standard – but you are free to purchase additional Bolt Ons if you wish.

Contracts available on O2 Pay Monthly range from the standard 18 month contracts, to shorter, 12 month price plans, and more long-term 24 month contracts.

O2 Pay Monthly Bolt Ons

Those O2 Pay Monthly Bolt On options in detail:


Unlimited* O2 to O2 calls: Offers unlimited calls from your O2 mobile to other O2 mobiles in the UK.

Unlimited Texts: Offers unlimited cross-network messages (SMS) at anytime.

Unlimited Web Bolt On: Provides unlimited web browsing on your mobile in the UK.

Unlimited weekend calls: Unlimited calls to any UK network mobile between 12.01AM Saturday and 11.59PM Sunday in the UK.

Does not include non-geographic numbers (starting 05, 08), 07744 and 07755 numbers and premium rate (09) numbers.

Unlimited landline calls: Offers unlimited calls to UK landlines (starting 01, 02 or 03) at anytime in the UK.

Unlimited Wi-Fi: Provides:

• Unlimited Wi-Fi access with your voice connection


• Access to over 7,500 Wi-Fi hotspots in the UK via The Cloud


• Compatible with all voice tariffs available from 18 January 2008


• For single and personal device use only

200 anytime minutes: Offers an extra 200 minutes to use anytime and to any UK network in the UK. It excludes calls to non-geographic numbers (starting 05, 08), 07744 and 07755 numbers and premium rate (09) numbers.


The Unlimited O2 to O2 calls Bolt On comes as the default Bolt On for all tariffs. You can change this Bolt On for any of the others, or purchase another for an extra £7.50 a month on top of your tariff.

There are three Pay & Go top-up options from O2, which are designed for texters, talkers, and those who frequently make calls to overseas numbers.

Text Anytime – get free texts with each top up

Top up between £10 and £14 to receive 300 texts each month.

Top up from £15 to £29 and get 500 free texts each month.

Top up £30 or more to get unlimited texts each month.


Favourite Place – get free UK minutes with each top up

Top up £10 and get 500 free minutes to O2 mobiles and standard UK landlines from your chosen postcode.

Top up £15 to receive 1000 free minutes to O2 mobiles and standard UK landlines from your chosen postcode.

Top up £30 and get unlimited minutes to O2 mobiles and standard UK landlines from your chosen postcode.


Your Country – get free UK and international minutes

Top up anything from £10 to £14 to get 50 free minutes to international landlines and mobiles from the UK.

Top up £15 to £29 and get 100 free minutes to international landlines and mobiles from the UK.

Top up £30 or more and get 200 free minutes to international landlines and mobiles from the UK.


SIM Only – Simplicity

This is for those who want to keep their old phone and number but switch to O2's network services. Contracts available here are comparable to the Pay Monthly tariffs in terms of free texts and minutes, but the deals work out at slightly better value for money, to reflect the fact that you are not paying for a new handset.

Currently, all of the Simplicity packages come with the Unlimited O2 to O2 calls Bolt On which comes with the Pay Monthly packages. Customers have the option to swap this for another Bolt On or purchase another for an additional £7.50 a month. For more information on O2 Bolt Ons, click here.
