I've chosen my tariff – what now?

Once you have picked out a Vodafone price plan to go with your handset, you can begin the buying process. Review the details of your purchase first on the Basket page before clicking through to the next section where you will be required to enter your personal details.

Entering Your Personal Details

At this stage, you will be required to enter your contact details, your full name, email address and a contact phone number. You enter your address by typing in your postcode and letting Vodafone's search engine look for your house number and street name – choose the correct one from the box before moving on to the next stage.

You will need to provide:

Your full name

Email Address

Daytime contact number

Postcode

Terms and Conditions

At the next stage, you have the chance to read and review the smallprint of your contract with Vodafone – it might be worthwhile copying and pasting the text into a document for easier viewing and for future reference. You will be sent a hard copy of the terms and conditions with your phone when it arrives in the post.

Payment

You will be required to enter your bank details if you are taking out a Pay Monthly contract with Vodafone so that they can withdraw monthly direct debits. You can choose to pay by either debit or credit card for the phone package itself, and enter details of an alternative address if the card you are using to pay with is not registered to your home address.

If paying by direct debit you will need:

Account holders name

Account number

Sort Code

Name of bank/building society

If paying by credit card you will need:

Cardholder's name

Type of card

Card number

Card security code

Expiry date, start date and issue number

Complete

The last section of the process allows you to review and authorise the purchase – you will be sent an email confirming that purchase has been made, and you will be given an expected date of delivery.
