What is the Vodafone coverage like in my area?

Vodafone's Coverage Maps, found on the Our Service section of their website, allows you to see what mobile services are available in your postcode area. Type in the postcode of your home address, work place or anywhere else you frequently use your phone to see what levels of coverage you can expect to receive and if you can make use of 3G services in your area.

I want to switch to Vodafone – can I keep my old number?

You will need to first get your PAC (Porting Authorisation Code) number from your current mobile network provider - you should receive your PAC code within 2 working days after asking for it. You will have to wait until your new phone arrives before you can begin switching your old number across – once you have your new phone, contact Vodafone with your PAC code and the following information to hand:

  • Your old mobile number
  • Your new Vodafone phone number
  • The number of your new Vodafone SIM card
Your old number should be ported to your new phone within 5 working days upon Vodafone\'s receipt of your details.
