Stylish icons and 'stylish phone'

LG has discovered who we think of as style icons, to celebrate the launch of its new mobile in the Black Label Series.

The female list was filled with classic names such as Marilyn Monroe, Princess Diana, Audrey Hepburn and Grace Kelly being cited as style influences in the UK.

Meanwhile, the male list was topped by The King: Elvis Presley was voted for by ten per cent of recipients, ahead of modern day stylish men such as David Beckham and George Clooney.

Head of LG mobile marketing Jeremy Newing explained: "Trends come and go but style is something that, as these icons prove, is timeless."

Mr Newing added that the new mobile phone, which LG hopes will follow the success of the Chocolate and Shine models, is one of the slimmest camera phones available.

Earlier in the month, LG launched its LG-KF700 model, which boasts three input methods - such as a touchscreen and a shortcut dial on the rear of the handset.
