A new mobile phone service from Diageo aims to act as a "pocket guide to vodka" on behalf of drinks maker Smirnoff.
The product will detail a number of Smirnoff-based cocktails, while it will also provide the discerning clubber with a mini nightlife guide to help them plan their night out.
Michelle Klein, global digital marketing director for Smirnoff, said that the new mobile platform offers consumers "an unexpected and original way to engage with the Smirnoff brand".
"It offers a really effective service for people to use when they are out and looking for a great bar to visit or even just at home with friends and trying to find a delicious cocktail recipe," she added.
Chris Lock, marketing manager at Smirnoff GB, added that the new application demonstrated how the company is living up to its values of being original.
Smirnoff has also rolled out a digital advertising campaign in support of the new service.
