Mobile phone users who - for whatever reason - want to read deleted text messages from a sim card are now able to do so, reports the Daily Record.
A new gadget from BrickHouse Security is able to interpret data such as text message and phone numbers, even after they have been deleted.
The device could be used to recover lost data, although it is being marketed as a means to keep check on others through their mobile phone use.
BrickHouse Security said it can be used to "spy on your wife, husband, teens or colleagues", and it claims that the product is uniquely designed.
The Independent highlighted other mobile phone services earlier this month, including technology that may be able to help people catch their partners cheating.
Services include the Love Detector, which claims to be able to tell from the tone of someone's voice whether they are lying or not.
