Adobe Systems has announced that it will be releasing a mobile version of Photoshop in late September.
Early reports of the software suggest that it will serve three main functions, the first of which will be allowing users to upload photographs from handsets to Photoshop.com, reports CNet News.
The second function will be to allow people to view images in thumbnail form on an online gallery.
Finally, it will allow mobile phone owners with the programme to view any albums that were created on Photoshop.com and Elements 7.
The software is designed for Windows Mobile users and will be available first for the Samsung Blackjack I and II, Moto Q 9h and the Palm Treo 700w/wx and 750.
In related news, a team of engineers at the University of Washington have announced that they have developed software to allow the hard of hearing to use sign language over their mobile phones, reports Phones Review.
