The Motorola RAZR V3 is still the most popular handset in the world, according to a new survey.
In global terms, Motorola occupies four of the top six places when it comes to the best-loved handsets, says the Admob Mobile Metrics report.
Behind the RAZR V3, the Motorola KRZR K1c, W385m and the Z6m are among the world's favourite mobile phones.
The report also reveals that Motorola dominates the US market, with four of the top five handsets.
However, it is a different story in the UK, where three Sony Ericsson handsets are in the top five places. Sony's popular K800i is the top mobile phone.
In the past couple of years, mobile phone companies have used the power of celebrity to increase the popularity of their handsets, reports Forbes.
Motorola, for example, has harnessed the talents of David Beckham and Wyclef Jean, while Sony has taken full advantage of singer Usher's influence.
