Motorola has announced that it will soon be releasing two new handset, the VU30 and VU204.
Both of the mobile phones will be clamshell designs but will not break the bank for those who wish to purchase one.
The VU30 is aimed at those with a little more money to spend on their mobiles as it is aimed at the mid-price market.
Its external display is touch sensitive so users will be able to use the camera and play music on their handsets without opening it up.
As is now standard on most phones, the VU30 also has a camera built in, although it is only a two-megapixel one. Despite this, it does support advanced imaging and video recording capablities.
Those who want a GPS system on their phones will not be disappointed as it has turn-by-turn directions with the VZ Navigator.
The external memory can be expanded to a substantial 8GB through the microSD slot.
Motorola's VU204 is aimed at the lower end of the market. It also features a camera as well as a dedicated camera button and a 4x zoom option.
In addition, it supports a range of mailing features including mobile instant messaging, email, text and multimedia messaging.
Those who are looking for a high-end smartphone may wish to purchase the Nokia E71 luxury edition.
It is coated with 24k gold and supports word, excel, powerpoint and pdf files, as well as featuring a QWERTY keyboard and three-megapixel camera.
This handset retails at £799 and is now available to customers in the UK.
