Mobile phone network O2 has joined forces with handset manufacturer Motorola to create a secure and personalised email system than can be accessed via mobile phones.
To be called Good Mobile Solutions, the service will offer customers a fully integrated mobile news feeder as well as the ability to customise priority emails with personalised notes, Mobile Today reports.
The service is set to be launched next month on the Motorola Q9 handset, which is exclusively on O2. The handset uses Microsoft's Windows Mobile operating platform and uses a number of different firewall systems.
Ben Dowd, general manager of business sales at O2, told the news provider: "Good is an excellent solution for customers who want a cost-effective, flexible mobile email solution on a choice of Windows mobile devices. Good delivers a highly useable and secure experience."
Earlier this month, O2's parent company Telefonica teamed up with Nokia to further development of mobile internet services.
