The world's largest mobile phone network will launch its new hi-tech handset next week but without the support of three of the UK's main networks.
Nokia's new N81 offers users access to the newly-created Nokia Music Stores and will be available on Vodafone and O2 when it hits UK shops on November 2nd.
However, the device will not be available on Orange, 3 or T-Mobile as the music software clashes with the networks' own plans, Mobile Today reports. The mobile phone comes pre-loaded with Maroon 5's current album and a number of free downloads.
A Nokia spokeswoman told the publication: "It's very much a key and a flagship product for Nokia and we're thrilled to have two operators on board and we also expect sales through the Nokia online shop. The device comes pre-loaded with the Nokia Music Store and the N-Gage games platform, so we're thrilled to have it in the market."
Earlier this month, Nokia launched its second major handset for the Christmas market - the N95 8GB.
