The world's largest mobile handset manufacturer Nokia is teaming up with Microsoft to provide customers with a new range of the software giant's products.
Customers in11 countries with compatible handsets will now have access to a new Microsoft suite which, when downloaded, will enable use of Windows Live Hotmail, Windows Live Messenger, Windows Live Contacts and Windows Live Spaces.
At the moment, only customers with Nokia S60 handsets will be able to download the new facility however plans to enable Nokia's N Series handsets will go live at the end of the month.
The extra services will be built in as standard to the S40 series of phones as of next year for those without network subsidies.
Steve Berkowitz, senior vice president of Microsoft's online services business, said: "The availability of Windows Live services for Nokia's devices demonstrates our commitment to delivering great mobile experiences and extending people's online lives - taking it from the PC to the device."
In a separate announcement by Nokia, it announced that its sales in India have overtaken sales in the US to become its second largest market, behind China.
