Nokia N96 a 'killer' handset

Nokia has "gone for the kill" with its latest handset, the N96, which is part of the successful N Series, according to the Online Mobile Phone Shop.

Nokia is known for making exceptional phones and the N96 is no exception, says the mobile news portal.

Describing the mobile as ultra-stylish, the website says that Nokia has made sure buyers of this handset get the best features in one package.

These include the 2.8-inch TFT display screen that delivers "seamless" imaging solutions at the resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, an embedded memory of 16 GB, 128 MB of RAM and 256 MB of storage memory.

The Nokia N96 boasts 3G HSDPA that operates at an "astonishing" speed of 3.6 Mbps. It also has WLAN and plug-n-play technology.

Moreover, owners of the handset will benefit from built-in Bluetooth v2.0; a built-in camera of five mega pixels; a GPS receiver; a DVB-H TV broadcast receiver; and an MP3 player.

Nokia recently indicated that it expects sales of handsets to rise by ten per cent or more this year.
