It has been revealed that mobile phone manufacturer Nokia has signed a deal with Warner Music Groups, which will make tracks from the record label's catalogue available to customers through Nokia Music stores.
The news will also benefit those who sign up to the Nokia Comes With Music service, which is expected to launch in the second half of 2008 and will allow customers to browse and download music for a year with a single purchase.
Executive vice president and head of the Nokia Entertainment and Communities business Tero Ojanpera explained: "Comes With Music enables people to access great content, provides artists to wider exposure with new and existing fans, and creates new revenue for
all stakeholders."
Reuters reports that Nokia has already signed up Universal and Sony BMG to its upcoming service, which could benefit mobile phone customers looking for the latest music.
Nokia recently revealed that it was launching its new Supernova range, which allows mobile phone users to customise their handset with the latest styles.
