O2 customers are set to enjoy improved mobile broadband connectivity, as the mobile operator and BT announce a deal to improve managed network solutions.
It has been revealed that BT will manage the network used by O2 for its internet service, using a new Ethernet service to provide faster mobile broadband.
Chief executive of BT Wholesale Sally Davis explained: "BT is able to design, tailor and manage the access network and cater to the demands that O2's customers are increasingly putting on the network."
The agreement will also reduce costs for O2, which may interest those currently looking for a mobile contract with internet services included.
Meanwhile BT has also announced success within Europe, as Forrester Research revealed that it considered the company to have the "greatest market presence," as well as acknowledging its success in winning new business.
