Mobile phone users will now be able to enjoy a magazine service on their Orange handset, after the operator announced the launch of Zap!
The new video magazine will be supported by advertising and will offer free video clips on celebrity, news and lifestyle from sources such as BBC Worldwide.
Head of partnerships services at Orange UK Steve Wallage explained: "Orange has already seen success in ad-funded trials and offering video services to our entire customer base is quite a step."
Mobile phone customers can access Zap! for free, thanks to the Orange partnership with IMP Media and mobile advertising company Rhythm NewMedia.
Orange recently offered its customers coverage hosted by singer, actress and presenter Kelly Osbourne from music festival Glastonbury.
She filmed various areas around the festival, with the results of her chats and experiences posted online to allow those not able to make it to enjoy the Glastonbury experience.
