Mobile phone customers in the US are set to see the launch of a brand new handset capable of supporting the Napster Mobile service this week.
The clamshell-style SLM from Samsung will launch in the US on November 23rd and will initially be available in brown, with a blue version to be launched later this year.
It comes with AT&T Video Share, mobile banking facilities, Bluetooth and a 2.0-megapixel camera boasting video capture, among other features.
The Napster Mobile service will enable users to search for and download songs from a catalogue of five million tracks.
Peter Skarzynski, senior vice president of Samsung, commented: "The SLM is a first-class handset, packed with a host of multimedia features and advanced music capabilities."
Samsung handsets that will be launched in the future for the UK market include the i640 and the i550, as well as a special Armani-branded phone.
