Mobile phone firm Samsung is thought to be considering a possible partnership with Armani to create a handset under the brand.
Should a product be developed by the two firms, the phone is likely to have a unique user interface and content, mbmagazine.co.uk reports.
According to Samsung spokesperson Lee Soo Jeong, the company will make an official announcement once plans have been finalised, adding: "We are currently reviewing the possibility with various firms including Armani."
Another spokesperson told the website: "The company is going to make a new category called 'IT luxury products' jointly with Armani."
They added that an Armani/Samsung phone could be released in Europe around October.
Previously, Samsung has worked to develop phones with brands such as Bang & Olufsen, creating the Serene model which is controlled via a central dial rather than a square keypad.
Band & Olufsen states that handset benefits from the best speech and sound recognition technology in the mobile phone market.
