It has been revealed that mobile phone customers with 3 will be able to watch free video content, thanks to a mobile advertising deal with Yahoo!
The deal builds on a system already trialled by the mobile phone operator, which allows customers to view items such as music videos on Planet 3 after watching a targeted advertising film.
Neil Andrews, head of portal advertising at 3 UK explained: "By combining Yahoo!'s expertise in mobile advertising with 3's valuable inventory, we can help big brands target their advertising with maximum success."
Cellular-news reports that an M:Metrics survey has ranked 3 as second for the amount of time users spent browsing, coming behind social networking site Facebook.
Meanwhile, 3 customers who wish to continue browsing away from the mobile phone may be interested in the mobile broadband starter kits offered by the company, now available for Pay As You Go users.
