Mobile services firm 3 has launched a new service that enables customers to take advantage of a variety of music streams.
The Non Stop Music service, developed in partnership with Ericsson, provides streams in eight different genres, with subscribers able to access these for 49p over a 24-hour period via their mobile phones.
Music is streamed on a four-hour loop and updated every week. Customers can switch between stations within the paid-for 24-hour time slot without having to pay extra.
"At 3 we thrive on providing our customers with the most innovative and exciting services on demand for the best price. The new 24-hour streaming will, I'm sure, be hugely popular with our customers," commented John Penberthy-Smith, marketing director at 3 UK.
Last month, the mobile phone operator announced that it had opened its 250th store in the UK at Royal Victoria Place in Tunbridge Wells.
