Mobile phone users on Vodafone will get access to the new album from Madonna ahead of its general release date of April 28th, reports the Daily Telegraph.
It has been announced that the Queen of Pop will release a song a day on the Vodafone network for the week before the album Hard Candy is launched.
Vice chairman of Warner Music John Reid is quoted as saying: "This is an innovative way to reach millions of Madonna fans around the world, building anticipation and excitement around this landmark release and helping to create a real event for Vodafone customers."
The songs will be made on Vodafone Live! as part of the Madonna mini site, alongside the normally-available selection of ringtones and music.
A report by Vodafone last year showed that a third of young people aged between 16 and 24 listen to music on their mobile phones, many of whom may be interested in the release of the Madonna tracks.
