| The brand new clamshell from O2 certainly makes a great visual impact. It's sleek white curves are complimented by the black keypad and screen. Thankfully the cocoon delivers on more than just simple looks.
The cocoon is, unashamedly, a multimedia phone. It's functionality is geared towards providing a great entertainment experience. The built in MP3 player is easy to use and supports all the major file formats. The massive 2GB of internal storage will enable you to store around 1000 of your favourite tracks. This memory is even expandable up to a further 2GB using the microSD card slot. So in theory you could have 4GB to play with. The two megapixel camera includes auto focus and has a flash, so lighting conditions should not present a major problem. In conclusion, the cocoon can fulfil a number of purposes. The novel LED display on the shell of the phone means it could act as an alarm clock, then it can be your MP3 player and your camera all rolled into one. You will not be disappointed with this handset. |

Quite a cool phone
Review by: James_DB from Hampshire, 18th December 2007
I got given an O2 Cocoon by a friend when I was between phones and I did quite like it. The looks are a little bit girly for me personally but I loved the way it doubled up as a proper alarm clock (and charged during the night).
If you want a cool looking phone that is quite unusual I would definitely take a look at the O2 Cocoon. But if you want more features and the functionality of a smart phone you are probably better off looking elsewhere.
