The O2 XDA Orbit is a versatile multifunctional phone/PDA with a fully integrated GPS routeplanner feature. The XDA Orbit comes with its own built-in GPS antenna, which neatly sidesteps the inconvenience of having to carry around a separate piece of signal equipment with you, as you would have to with other models of GPS phone. The handset itself is a slim, palm-friendly device (58 x 16 x 108 mm) that has an inbuilt 2 Megapixel camera, MP3 player and radio. The majority of these features are activated through either the rotating thumbwheel, designated hotkeys or the 2.8" TFT-enhanced touchscreen, which features a responsive QWERTY keyboard and a series of softkey menus.
To cope with multimedia demands the O2 XDA Orbit comes with 64 MB of memory and a microSD slot for expansion. For workers on the move, the Orbit has Windows Mobile 5.0 installed which offers mobile email access and document viewing support for all Office applications.
