The Samsung F210 blue has taken the unique form factor of the X830 and kicked things up a notch with a whole host of new features. In terms of looks the Samsung F210 will not be to everyones taste. The keypad is cramped and the unusual layout does cause consternation when you are trying to send a text. In short, lookswise there is nothing to separate the Samsung F210 from the X830. But looks can sometimes be deceiving.
The first thing any user will notice on switching on the F210 blue is the interface. It looks very flash with lots of cutting edge graphics and it feels pretty decent to use (although it won't trouble the iPhone). But the big revolution comes in the form of memory.
The Samsung F210 has 1GB of internal memory available and it is also upgradeable using the microSD card slot where an extra 2 gigabytes can be added. Even without the microSD card the F210 is capable of storing 250 songs and around 6000 images.
The inbuilt camera is also an improvement on the X830, the samsung F210 has a 2 megapixel camera that is capable of video capture. As the X830 was a mere 1.3 megapixel this is a marked improvement. The Samsung F210 also includes an FM radio, in case you get bored of those embarassing songs you've loaded onto it!
The Samsung F210 blue is not the most feature laden, high tech piece of kit around but it certainly holds it on against its supposedly more illustrious rivals. It is an unusual phone that some people will definitely admire.
