| The Samsung F700 really blurs the line between pocket multimedia computer and mobile phone, much in the same way that the iPhone does. The Samsung F700 really is designed to go head to head with Apple's media darling. But can it lure users away from the iPhone juggernaut? We shall see.
Although the Samsung F700 has a touchscreen interface, it really can't be compared to the interface technology on the iPhone. For a start the Samsung F700 has full QWERTY keyboard underneath the display. Simply slide this out and texting becomes a breeze! As the F700 is HSDPA compatible, surfing the web is much easier with the keyboard as typing in a URL is not a slow, drawn out affair. Another advantage that the Samsung F700 has over the iPhone is it's camera, at 3 megapixels the Samsung F700 has a decent amount of power. Combine this with a flash and autofocus and you have another category in which the iPhone is defeated (although the iPhone's camera is a great deal better than some suggest). The place where the F700 fails to land a blow on the iPhone is internal memory. To keep its slim shape, Samsung must have decided to keep internal memory on the F700 to the minimum, although they have included a microSD card for expansion. With memory cards being available relatively cheaply you can upgrade your F700 to your own specifications. In the end, it is matter of preference for many people. An iPhone is certainly a startling and interesting proposition. But the Samsung F700 certainly provides a serious and competitive alternative. |

Good real good,much better than probably, most people think.Its all interface this,and,interface that,since the iphone's come along.But afterall they are all mobile phones and mini computers,so,they have to be good,or at least,reasonably good at what they have been designed for.This phone does everything good,really good,good touch screen,good internet,good music,good video recording,and a good camera.My mate has two phones Nokia n95,and an iphone,but even he was blown away by the samsung.So he went out and bought one.I think enough said,if you have an iphone sorry,a hamster is pretty,but what good is it only to look at.
