About You - Contact Details

Basic contact details such as your full name, email address your home address details and two valid phone numbers need to be included so that The Link can contact you and confirm your purchase. Enter the following on the relevant sections:

• Your full name
• Main email address
• Phone numbers - Mobile, Daytime and Home

Address & Delivery

Type your postcode into the text box and select your address from the list that follows. You will also need to roughly state for how long you have been living there and provide details of any previous addresses.

After selecting your address, you can choose to have your phone package delivered to either your home address or anywhere of your choosing, such as your place of work, or if you are buying a phone as a present for a friend or family member, you can enter their address details instead.

You can also opt for next day delivery or choose for delivery on a date within 5 working days, and choose for the package to be delivered before a specified time, in case you want your package to arrive at work before lunchtime on Wednesday.

Prices vary depending on the time of day, it is usually more expensive to have your phone delivered before lunchtime and after 5pm, and on weekends.

Payment

If you want to keep your old phone number, you can opt to have your old number ported across to your new phone, if the terms and conditions of your current mobile contract allow it.

Payments for your package must be paid for via credit card, so you will need to have all the relevant details to hand. You will also be required to enter your bank details for the purpose of setting up a monthly direct debit for Pay Monthly contracts.



If paying by credit card you will need:

• Cardholder's name
• Type of card
• Card number
• Card security code
• Expiry date, start date and issue number

You will need your bank details for monthly direct debit payments:

• Account holders name
• Account number
• Sort Code
• Name of bank/building society

Confirmation

The last part of the buying process - when you have entered all of the details for payment and delivery, click through once more to summarise the details of the purchase and accept. A confirmation message will be sent to the email account you provided in the About You section.
