The Magic V3 aims to deliver flagship-level performance in a refined foldable design. It works both as a compact phone when folded and a tablet-like device when opened, and is well-suited to multitasking, media streaming and productivity.

Magic V3: Display & Design

Design-wise, the Magic V3 is impressively slim for a foldable device and, with its smooth curved edges and robust hinge, feels premium in-hand. Plus, its IPX8 water resistance gives added peace of mind for everyday use.

When unfolded you get a large 7.92-inch foldable OLED display with a 2344 × 2156 resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate for smooth motion and vibrant colour. The outer cover display measures about 6.43 inches with a similarly high resolution.

Both panels are bright and detailed, making the Magic V3 well-suited to watching videos, browsing and multitasking.

Magic V3: Camera

The rear camera system is versatile and capable, with a 50 MP main sensor with optical image stabilisation, a 50 MP telephoto lens and a 40 MP ultra-wide camera for broader scenes.

Selfies are handled by a 20 MP camera on both the inner and outer displays. The phone supports up to 4K video recording at 30 fps from both front and rear cameras, giving you strong flexibility for everyday photo and video capture.

It’s a capable and flexible camera setup that performs well in most everyday shooting situations.

Magic V3: Battery & Performance

Battery life is a highlight with a 5150 mAh silicon-carbon cell that comfortably lasts a full day of mixed use. The Magic V3 also supports 66 W wired fast charging and 50 W wireless fast charging, so topping up is quick and convenient when you do need a boost.

Under the hood the phone runs on a flagship-grade Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with ample RAM, giving smooth performance for demanding tasks, heavy multitasking and graphics-intensive gaming. Everyday use feels fast and responsive.

Magic V3: Software & Extras

The Magic V3 runs MagicOS 8.0.1 on top of Android 14, offering a clean and user-friendly interface optimised for foldable use. Features like split-screen multitasking and floating windows make good use of the larger inner display, while regular updates help keep the device secure and fresh.
