Buying it outright from Apple will cost you £799, which is obviously expensive if you want to buy the phone upfront and use it with a SIM only contract. Most will instead want to opt for getting the phone as part of a contract with an operator, as you’ll be able to cover the cost of the phone, texts, minutes and mobile data in one handy monthly cost. Most operators will ask for an upfront payment, but this is rarely over £100 so is therefore a much cheaper option.
